Itinerary
DAY 1 | Bishkek
Reception at the airport in the capital, Bishkek, and transfer to one of the most picturesque regions of the country.
We will spend the night at a local inn, with free time to rest and briefly explore the surrounding town.
Dinner and socializing at the end of the day in a cozy atmosphere.
DAY 2 | Karakol
Early breakfast at the lodge and departure for one of the country's most iconic lakes, stopping at places of great natural beauty along the way.
On the way, we will visit the Grigoriev and Semenov gorges, located on the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. These sites are considered some of the most famous attractions in the region.
Arrival at a historic town in the region and visit to one of its cultural landmarks. At the end of the day, time to enjoy the colors of the sunset by the lake, surrounded by majestic mountains.
DAY 3 | Sary Jaz
Travel along mountain roads to one of the most isolated and wild regions in the east of the country.
Magnificent landscapes, glacial rivers, and snow-capped peaks accompany the route.
The region is rich in untouched nature, offering a rare opportunity to experience the wild nature of Kyrgyzstan.
You will spend the night in tents, immersed in the tranquility of nature.
DAY 4 | Karakol
A peaceful morning to enjoy the sunrise over the mountain peaks.
Return to the city of Karakol, with time to enjoy the scenery along the way.
We will spend the night in a hotel in the city of Karakol.
DAY 5 | Bokonbaevo
We set off early for a valley famous for its imposing rock formations, whose name is linked to a local legend.
A short drive takes us to a panoramic viewpoint, where you can observe the unique colors and shapes that characterize the landscape.
We continue to a mountainous area where crystal clear water cascades through alpine forests—a perfect setting to enjoy nature in its purest form.
Our journey continues through an area known for its warm-toned sandstone formations, sculpted by wind and time, creating an almost surreal environment.
At the end of the day, the soft light further enhances the textures and colors, making this moment particularly memorable.
DAY 6 | Kochkor
We start the day early, on the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, where the soft morning light creates an unforgettable scene with the mountains on the horizon.
We then continue to a nearby canyon area, famous for its reddish rock formations and contrasts of light and shadow.
At the end of the morning, we will have the opportunity to meet an eagle hunter, guardian of a centuries-old nomadic tradition, and watch a demonstration of these majestic birds in flight.
We continue to the village of Kochkor, where local artisans reveal the craft of felting, a cultural heritage that spans generations.
DAY 7 | Kel Suu Lake
Departure for the mountainous region near the Chinese border, to a remote lake situated at high altitude and surrounded by imposing rock formations.
We will sleep in a traditional yurt camp, where we will spend the night under a starry sky.
DAY 8 | Naryn
Morning dedicated to exploring a remote lake in the heart of the mountains, accessible by mountain trails on foot or horseback.
Time to enjoy the scenery and tranquility of the place before returning to camp for lunch.
In the afternoon, we continue to the city of Naryn, crossing valleys and plains where it is common to see herds and traditional villages. Arrival and check-in at the hotel.
DAY 9 | Son Kul
Travel along mountain roads to a lake located at an altitude of over 3,000 meters, crossing a panoramic pass.
We will sleep in a yurt camp and experience the nomadic life of the pastures.
In the late afternoon, we will watch the sunset over the plateau. Night under a starry sky, ideal for observing (and photographing) the Milky Way.
DAY 10 | Bishkek | Boarding
Free morning to enjoy the sunrise over the lake before returning to Bishkek.
The journey passes through villages and mountain gorges, stopping for lunch at a local guesthouse.
Arrival in the capital and time to rest at the hotel or board flights home.

General
This trip is intended for all photography and nature enthusiasts, regardless of their level of experience or equipment. During the expedition, each participant will receive personalized guidance according to their photographic goals.
Your place is guaranteed upon payment of a deposit (€600), which will be deducted from the total amount once the trip is confirmed.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the deposit will be refunded. However, in case of cancellation by the participant, the amount will not be refunded. Room allocation will be made in order of registration, with priority given to same-sex sharing. If single rooms are available, they will also be allocated in this order.
If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance so that we can ensure alternative meals.
The itinerary presented is indicative and may be adjusted depending on weather conditions, local guide recommendations, or unforeseen logistical issues.
Due to the planning of the trip, it is essential that the return flight from Bishkek is booked for after 6pm on the last day of the program.
We advise you to check the conditions of your health insurance for international coverage, or consider taking out travel insurance with medical assistance.
Cancellation Policy
Reservation
Registration is considered effective upon payment of a deposit, which will be deducted from the total cost of the trip. This amount guarantees the reservation, but is non-refundable in case of cancellation by the participant, regardless of the reason.
Cancellation by the participant
After official confirmation of the trip (when the minimum number of participants has been reached), the following conditions apply in case of cancellation by the traveler:
- There will be no refund.
Replacement of participant
If the participant cancels the trip, they may designate another person to take their place, provided that the replacement occurs at least 20 days before the departure date and the new participant accepts the same conditions agreed upon.
Cancellation due to not reaching the minimum number of participants
The trip will only take place with a minimum of 3 participants. If this number is not reached, the organization reserves the right to cancel the expedition. In this case, the deposit and any other amounts paid will be refunded in full, without penalty.
Cancellation due to force majeure
In exceptional circumstances (such as changes in health or safety conditions, natural disasters, or other external causes that compromise the trip), the organization may cancel or postpone the expedition. Participants will be informed as far in advance as possible and will be entitled to a refund of the amounts paid or to reschedule for a new date.
Insurance recommendation
We strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance with cancellation, medical assistance, and repatriation coverage to ensure protection in case of personal or operational unforeseen events.
Recommendations
- Documentation: Passport: To travel to Kyrgyzstan, you need a passport that is valid for at least 6 months.
- Visa: Portuguese citizens do not need a visa for stays of up to 60 days.
- Compulsory vaccinations: No vaccinations are required for people from European countries;
- Local currency: Kyrgyz som;
- Time difference: Kyrgyzstan is +5 hours ahead of mainland Portugal
- Mobile network: Mobile network coverage and internet access are not always available in remote areas.
