Epson Pano Awards 2024
The Epson Pano Awards is one of the largest and most prestigious panoramic photography competitions in the world, bringing together talent from all corners of the globe to celebrate the art of large-scale photography. In the 2024 edition, the contest once again highlighted the creativity, technique, and unique vision of photographers who are dedicated to capturing landscapes, cities, and epic moments through panoramic images. Each year, the competition attracts thousands of entries, which are evaluated by a jury of renowned experts in the field, who consider criteria such as composition, originality, technical quality, and visual impact.
In this edition, I am honored to receive three bronze medals and one silver medal, achievements that reflect my effort and passion for photography. These medals represent the sensitivity in capturing the world in a broad and engaging way.

A photograph of the Fuego volcano in Guatemala, erupting at night. Incandescent lava jets light up the dark sky, with red-hot particles being thrown from the crater, creating a spectacle of natural force.
To achieve this stunning angle, it took a whole day of hiking, requiring effort and preparation to get the ideal position.
This volcano is known for its frequent eruptions, and the image highlights the power of nature in a striking composition, resulting in a silver medal at the 2024 Epson Pano Awards.

Volcanoes - Indonesia
A photograph of the volcano complex located in Indonesia, featuring the famous Mount Bromo, won the second bronze medal.
The composition frames the natural scenery through the branches of a tree, adding a layer of depth and context to the panoramic view.
Mount Bromo, with its smoking crater in the center, contrasts with the Semeru volcano in the background, which also displays a slight column of smoke at its summit.
The soft light of dawn enhances the textures of the mountains and the details of the volcanic formations, creating a serene yet majestic atmosphere.

Semeru Volcano, Indonesia
Another award-winning photograph was taken from one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in the Java East region of Indonesia, overlooking the Semeru volcano.
Framed by dense tropical vegetation, the landscape reveals a majestic waterfall in the background, cascading into a deep valley with a winding river cutting through the scene.
The light mist around the mountains and the partially overcast sky create an almost mystical atmosphere, while the soft light selectively illuminates the valley, highlighting the lush green palette of the forest. The image, which perfectly balances the raw beauty of nature with careful composition, earned the bronze medal at the 2024 Epson Pano Awards.

Super-Cell
A giant supercell in the plains of Oklahoma, USA, an impressive phenomenon characteristic of the central region of the country during certain times of the year, was the image that won the last bronze medal in this contest.
After hours of watching the storm form, I managed to capture the moment when the supercell, about 5 km in diameter, took on its colossal shape, dominating the horizon with its dramatic layers of clouds. The vast plain in the foreground contrasts with the powerful storm in the sky, highlighting the grandeur and power of nature.
